Dogs chew gum?

Can dogs chew gum? Apparently so. I saw my dog chewing gum yesterday, and the worst part is, it wasn't even the first time! She's insane. 

Don't judge a movie by it's trailer..?

So I saw Fired Up last night. I didn't think I would even end up watching it because it looked like a stupid movie to me, but I actually liked it..it made me laugh a lot. I don't know what kind of movies you people like but I recommend this one. It's at least better than it looks in the trailer.

Strict Parents?

I sat in my World Literature class today and I had no idea what to write about. Well, it finally came to me.

My parents. It's insane..they were always so lenient. All my life, they would let me hang out with friends without giving me much trouble. Now that I'm getting older, they seem to be getting stricter. I admit that I've been doing more rebellious things lately, but it's not like they even know. And I do suppose it does make partial sense that they're doing this, due to a incident that my mother had to go through, but I always thought that parents got less rigid as their kids got older when it comes down to things like going out. It just frustrates me....I don't feel like I can do anything or go anywhere anymore, and it's a time in my life, if anything, where I should be able to. 

A Book I Think Everyone Should Read

A book that I think everyone should read is The House of the Scorpion by Nancy Farmer. It's a book that I didn't think I'd be interested in when I first saw it but when I started reading it, I couldn't stop. It's set in the future - I'd say by about 100 years - and it's about a young boy who is the clone of a very evil and powerful man. He is mistreated by everyone besides a select few because they believe that he is nothing but an animal. I would say it's the first science fiction book I've read and it definitely interested me more than I expected so I say everyone should give it a shot.
